Or worse yet, given your opinion, but it was so disorganised that the point you were trying to make was lost? The ability to "think on your feet" is an important skill. That's why you'll have the opportunity to practice thinking on your feet through Table Topics. In this workshop, we will experience the freedom of the clown, the one that cherishes every aspect of the present moment, beyond self-criticism and without fear of others’ perceptions. The workshop will focus on self-awareness through movement and clowning, welcoming everything that emerges without judgment. It will be a combination of exploring awareness through movement, dance, improvisational games in group and little improvisations on stage. Get more anchored and learn to feel integral in your body to fully utilise your strength of action.
The goal is to take pleasure in being, to move, to dance life, to play, like children, in the games of the circus. It's to live fully the present moment.
Experiment with a new sensation through play and discover things you do not know about yourself.
Workshop Leader: Rémy Parot.
I am a professional juggler and acrobat. I teach those skills and other performance skills to different types of publics. (adults, children, other professionals, handicapped people). Why do I do circus? What was my first motivation, my quest when I was juggling as a kid in my parent’s garden? It’s the spiritual connection between those skills. I see the circus as a yoga and the art as a spiritual way, an activity which serves the development of the person. The performance isn’t my objective. I am more looking for the sincerity of the moment, the pleasure of playing in the air, with the gravity and the non-gravity, the balance of the being.
