First held in 2005, AYUDH’s European Youth Summit now welcomes more than 300 young people from around Europe. The summit provides a unique platform for personal development, intercultural dialogue and creative expression through a combination of talks and workshops that foster personal, environmental and global responsibilities, and practical training in leadership, change-making, mindfulness and sustainability. The teachings of Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi) form an essential part of the reflections at the summit and spiritual practices like yoga, singing and meditation will be offered.
The location a not-for-profit organization and spiritual community dedicated to promoting the values of sustainability, volunteering and intercultural exchange, while practicing Amma’s values and teachings. It is located in the Odenwald area about 1 hour from Frankfurt. To follow and maintain the regular spiritual practices at M.A. Center Germany, there will be a short guided meditation, yoga and devotional singing offered every day.
AYUDH Europe strives to promote a European community of young people, which aspire to cultivate in themselves spirituality according to the universal values of love, compassion, tolerance, unity in diversity and respect, as taught by Amma. These young people thereby wish to commit themselves for the good of their fellow women and men and the environment.
The network AYUDH Europe connects youth in Europe who are inspired by humanistic ideas based on values like human dignity, peace, cultural exchange and community. AYUDH Europe is the European youth wing of Embracing the World, a global collective of charitable/humanitarian organizations, inspired by by the Indian spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma). AYUDH Europe is a network with and for youth who feel committed to the values of the network. The active participation in the network is independent of gender, nationality, religion, sexual orientation or social status.
AYUDH is an international youth movement that seeks to empower young people to make social and political change, for more inclusive and peaceful societies through self-development, inner transformation and collective action, developing compassionate leaders with a sense of tolerance, solidarity and global responsibility. AYUDH was founded and inspired by renowned spiritual and humanitarian leader Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi).

AYUDH is an international youth movement, inspired and founded by Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi), widely recognised as one of the world’s most renowned humanitarians and spiritual leaders of our times.
Amma’s entire life has been dedicated to alleviating the pain of the poor and those suffering physically and emotionally. Amma inspires, uplifts and transforms through her physical embrace, her spiritual wisdom and her humanitarian activities. Her boundless love and compassion crosses all barriers of nationality, race and religion. When people ask Amma about her religion, she simply replies “my religion is Love.”
