As you know AYUDH's youth summit grows every year! We are expecting 300 participants this year from the 13th - 21st of July 2019 and are desperate for more volunteers to facilitate the event and make it the huge success it is every year.
Anyone who is above 30 and unfortunately can’t join as a participant anymore but still feels that they want to contribute again to the Summit this year is invited to attend as a volunteer.
Enjoy a spiritual environment at M.A. Center Germany with a daily routine of spiritual practices and special time set aside to listen to some of the talks at the Summit. Although it is not 100% confirmed yet, there is a high chance that Amma’s Senior disciple, Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri (Swamiji) will join us at the Summit at the end of the week.
To ensure that there are enough volunteers, and that everyone is not overworked and has time to attend all the spiritual practices and satsangs, we will be creating a Seva timetable, asking people sign up to one of the following options:
The location is a not-for-profit organisation and spiritual community, dedicated to promoting the values of sustainability, volunteering and intercultural exchange, while practicing Amma’s values and teachings. It is located in the Odenwald area about 1 hour from Frankfurt. To follow and maintain the regular spiritual practices at M.A. Center Germany, there will be a short guided meditation, yoga and devotional singing offered every day.
AYUDH forms the youth wing of Embracing the World®, a global network of humanitarian organisations guided by Amma and working to end poverty by providing access to food, shelter, healthcare, education and livelihood in over 40 countries.
AYUDH is an international youth movement, dedicated to empowering young people to contribute to a peaceful and sustainable world and become compassionate leaders with a sense of tolerance, solidarity and global responsibility. At AYUDH, we are driven by the desire to make a difference and be catalysts for positive change. Through self-transformation and service to others, AYUDH encourages young people to work towards the betterment of society. AYUDH’s initiatives are organized by and for youth across the world, and are based on five main pillars:
AYUDH is an international youth movement, inspired and founded by Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi), widely recognised as one of the world’s most renowned humanitarians and spiritual leaders of our times.
Amma’s entire life has been dedicated to alleviating the pain of the poor and those suffering physically and emotionally. Amma inspires, uplifts and transforms through her physical embrace, her spiritual wisdom and her humanitarian activities. Her boundless love and compassion crosses all barriers of nationality, race and religion. When people ask Amma about her religion, she simply replies “my religion is Love.”
“If our youth arise and act, they have the strength and dynamism to generate a huge transformation in society.”
